Regina's Magic Mushroom Garden: High Heeled Fairies

Paper Piecing pattern for 12x16 and 15x20 cm blocks (without borders).

For this project I have created blocks especially suited for beginners as they consist of only one or two segments. One little sewing trick I couldn't let go, though - you will meet it at another mushroom block. The mushroom patterns will be published according to their degree of difficulty. This block is easy to sew; and you will get an additional leaf pattern for embroidery or quilting.

Make sure your printer's scaling option is set to "none" to print the correct size.

This embroidery pattern is exclusive for the subscribers of my newsletter. The block may stand alone or be added to the Magic Mushroom Garden. I appliquéd my mushroom heads and stitched the motivs with handcolored cotton threads from Anne Lange. The color gradations are like a built-in fun factor and give visual appeal even to a beginners embroidery like mine. Have a look at the gallery for more details.

You can chose from 2 different sizes for the center section, 40x48 cm and 50x60 cm. All measurements will be in centimeters. Border designs will be given for both sizes. You can find the layout and estimated fabric requirements in the mushroomgarden.pdf. This information is only a guideline, though, and there may be few changes.
