A regular double fold binding is necessary for large bed and wall quilts. But on mini quilts it isn't made easily and needless most times. As always many roads lead to Rome! One quick technique is binding from the backing. You need to decide for it before you cut your backing fabric. The method is really simple even though my tutorial might look complicated at the first glance. Just give it a try!
Advanced and fussy sewers might prefer to sew the corner by machine and stitch the binding down by hand; see page two.
